Chandra has been part of Green School for 14 years and currently serves as Primary National Principal. She believes education should be deeply rooted in place, culture, and community. For her, the world starts where our feet stand: by becoming aware of, learning from, and connecting with the place we call home. Integrating local culture and wisdom into learning helps students understand who they are and their place in the world. From these roots, students can carry their learning and local perspectives beyond their community, connecting local knowledge to global perspectives and contributing to a more holistic, meaningful, and regenerative world.
