What if changing one habit could shift the way you move through your day?

For her Quest project, Nadia (class of 2025) created a set of beautifully designed cards that help people recognise the patterns that lead to procrastination and replace them with intentional, meaningful actions. She explored the science of motivation, the power of routine, and the gentle discipline needed to build habits that last, turning her research into a practical tool anyone can use to take control of their time.

*Quest is Green School Bali’s Grade 8 Capstone Project where students turn their passions into meaningful projects with a sustainability focus, ending in a TED Talk–style presentation.

At Green School Bali, more than 40 nationalities come together every day — learning, creating, celebrating, and building a better world side by side.

Bamboopalooza is one of our favourite community festivals of the year: a colourful celebration of music, culture, food, games, and creativity — all hosted in our beautiful bamboo campus. It’s a day where families, students, teachers, and friends gather to share traditions, showcase talents, and honour the global tapestry that makes our school so unique.

What if a piece of embroidery could change the way we see women in prison?

For her Greenstone project, Maddie (Class of 2025) spent months collaborating with the women of Kerobokan Prison, learning their stories, understanding their daily realities, and bringing their hand-embroidered shorts, napkins, and headscarves to the wider community. Through this partnership, she helped create a platform where their artistry, resilience, and voices could be seen and valued — with every rupiah from the sales returning directly to the women and their families.

Introducing the Kul Kul Podcast, hosted by Ibu Tirka Widanti, our President of Yayasan Kul Kul. The name Kul Kul comes from the traditional Balinese wooden bell used to gather the community — a fitting symbol for this podcast that brings together the voices behind our vibrant school. In each episode, we’ll meet Indonesian team members who keep Green School Bali running in uniquely sustainable and meaningful ways.

In our very first episode, we’re excited to feature Pak Rian, our Human Resources Manager, who shares how the HR team nurtures our diverse community, ensures a safe space for children, and lives by the values of IRESPECT — Integrity, Responsibility, Equality, Sustainability, Peace, Empathy, Community and Trust.

One trash can makes one tune! Niyam from the class of 2025 used his creativity to craft his own instruments from recycled materials. In his Footprint project, he shared the inspiring story of his journey—turning trash into sound.

Since he was a kid, rhythm has been a part of who he is, and he’s always had a special way of hearing the beat in everything around him. Niyam proves that we don’t need fancy instruments to make great music!

*Footprints is a Grade 5 Capstone project that grows from students’ desire to share their ideas and start a positive impact on their community and the environment.

Curiosity leads the way in Grade 6 Science!

Students design and test their own experiments — creating natural perfumes, exploring chemical reactions, and discovering how everyday materials can transform in surprising ways.

Each project sparks creativity and deeper understanding, reminding us that science is not just learned — it’s lived.
