Our Grade 5 students recently connected with SD No. 2 Sibang Gede through three enriching visits that brought learning to life! Through language exchange, shared games, and cultural experiences, students built friendships grounded in openness and curiosity.

These visits were a living example of experiential learning — where students learn by doing, listening, and engaging with others. Each moment encouraged collaboration, empathy, and respect for different perspectives.

If you’d like to experience this approach to learning firsthand, we invite you to join our On-Campus Open Day on 12 January 2026 and explore what makes our community unique. Register now through the link in our bio!

At the intersection of science and nature, students are discovering how to build the future they believe in.

In this episode, our host Charlotte Hankin sits down with Olivier Bourdon to explore how students use science education, biomimicry, and regenerative learning to design innovative solutions and take control of the future. With the BiRD (Biomimicry for Regenerative Design) Lab on the horizon, students will have a dedicated space to explore, invent, and shape a regenerative future.

What if rethinking the way we grow food could reshape our future?

For his Quest project, Lucas built an aquaponic system that shows how plants and fish can work together in a perfect loop, where fish nourish the plants and the plants clean and oxygenate the water in return. Through this project, he explored sustainable farming, water efficiency, and how natural systems can teach us to grow more while using significantly fewer resources.

*Quest is the Grade 8 Capstone Project at Green School Bali, where students transform their passions into impactful, sustainability-focused work that culminates in a TED-Talk–style presentation.

What if changing one habit could shift the way you move through your day?

For her Quest project, Nadia (class of 2025) created a set of beautifully designed cards that help people recognise the patterns that lead to procrastination and replace them with intentional, meaningful actions. She explored the science of motivation, the power of routine, and the gentle discipline needed to build habits that last, turning her research into a practical tool anyone can use to take control of their time.

*Quest is Green School Bali’s Grade 8 Capstone Project where students turn their passions into meaningful projects with a sustainability focus, ending in a TED Talk–style presentation.

At Green School Bali, more than 40 nationalities come together every day — learning, creating, celebrating, and building a better world side by side.

Bamboopalooza is one of our favourite community festivals of the year: a colourful celebration of music, culture, food, games, and creativity — all hosted in our beautiful bamboo campus. It’s a day where families, students, teachers, and friends gather to share traditions, showcase talents, and honour the global tapestry that makes our school so unique.
