Kathryn Morog, Ph.D., operates out of the University of Manitoba as an Assistant Professor in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning. Kathryn’s work is an act of fugitive play within Physical and Outdoor Environmental Education. Through anticolonial friction and arts-based somatic inquiry guided by feminist posthumanism, she seeks to disrupt rigid lines of standard curriculum and trouble human exceptionalism, in remembering ourselves as expressions of the Land that holds us.
Kathryn is currently the Principal Investigator for the Movement as Artivism: Generating Relational and Sustainable Solidarities with Land/Place (University of Manitoba, 2023 – 2028) and Decolonizing Physical Literacy (Research Manitoba, 2024 – 2026) projects. Kathryn is also an Associate Editor with the Australian Journal of Environmental Education.
