Lalita is a Green School Bali student who is passionate about protecting Bali’s cultural and environmental integrity through regenerative tourism. Growing up in a Balinese village and in a family involved in tourism, she has seen first-hand both the beauty and the challenges that come with rapid development. She aims to shift the tourism narrative, from extractive to restorative, starting with her family’s homestay, her village, and beyond. She believes young Balinese people have the power to lead positive change by combining cultural pride with mindful action.
