Glenn has extensive experience leading major research and teaching initiatives in collaboration with government and non-government partners in Australia and globally. He currently leads an Australian Research Council (ARC) project examining ways to improve collaboration and co-design between government agencies in the development of schooling reforms.

Glenn regularly collaborates with school and system leaders to apply strategic and participatory design methods to educational challenges and drive meaningful change. He has been commissioned by governments to co-design major professional learning initiatives, including the Teaching Impact Fellowship (Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership) and Leading Future Learning (Orbis, South Australian Government), which support teachers and leaders to experiment with innovation and rethink the future of schooling.

Before entering academia, Glenn began his career as a music journalist and later worked as a secondary English teacher in Australia and England. This diverse professional history informs his creative approach to policy design, systems thinking and complex educational challenges.
